Sometimes, words are better left unsaid. Other times, those unspoken words could have made all the difference.
Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
Life is what happens when you are making other plans. In everyday life, we’re often caught off-guard by a situation, thinking later what we should have said, should have done. Unfortunately, a second chance may not appear and the moment is lost—with an opportunity possibly lost as well.
The problem with communication is the illusion that it has occurred. We think there are magical combinations within language that will solve every problem. But frankly, there are some things that once revealed end up hurting more than it helping it. By dissecting and analyzing every conflict with a conversation, you may be in fact creating a bigger problem than you began with.
We don’t fall in love with a person for what makes us the same; We fall in love with person for what makes us different. Therefore it’s important to be yourself in any relationship. We are not be perfect for everyone, we are only perfect for those select few people who take that extra effort to know us. And to those select few, love us for what we are are, whether we are perfect or imperfect.
It’s far too easy to look at someone and come to a conclusion about them without even listening to them. A smile can hide a lot of pain and tears. Most of the people show just a little bit of themselves in public.
Never judge. Never have prejudices. Learn to respect and acknowledge the feelings of your significant other. Pay close attention to what they have to say. Listen to what they are telling you in present.
People do not always need advise. Sometimes they want you to just listen to them. It’s important to know when is the time to speak and when is the time to remain silent and just listen. And this can be the biggest differentiator between a failed and a successful relationship.
Open communication can help a lot in relationship. Without open communication you let the person in front of you to assume a lot. Share everything that you have in mind and heart. Share your deepest thoughts, needs, wishes, hopes, and dreams. Sometimes it makes your heart a lot lighter to just say whatever you have in mind. Give the people in your life the information they might need, rather than assuming that they will figure what exactly is going within you.
Democracy don’t rule the world, You’d better get that in your head; This world is ruled by violence, But I guess that’s better left unsaid.
Hearts are broken by words unspoken.
